This is a short yoga sequence to wake up the whole body and recharge your batteries. Begin by kneeling position 1 and then lean forward and stretch your arms out in front of you at the same time inhale and then exhale as you rest your body on your thighs as in position 2 of the diagram above.
Start to move forward as in position 3 inhaling as you move. This position is called the cobra. Then move into position 4 raising your self up onto your hands and feet into what is called the downward facing dog pose.
Return to position 3 and then to positions 2 and then 1.
Repeat the sequence again up to 6 times. Do this slowly and carefully, working in harmony with your breathing. Then relax and notice how you feel.
