We thought we’d celebrate this cold spell we’re currently having by going back to a painting of a previous freezing period up in Nidderdale. It’s a view of the dale near the vineyard and it’s one of Mrs Summerhouse’s relatively rare pen and ink on paper paintings. This is one of her favourite views and this is definitely one of my favourite paintings.
