This is the canvas and pastel version of Mrs Summerhouse’s earlier watercolour painted while on our Scottish holiday in Dumfries and Galloway. This one created in her studio.

Even though there is a very structured and detailed look to this painting I prefer the softer look of the watercolour.
Mind you I don’t have the qualifications to say which is the better one – if there is one- I just like the look of the watercolour more 🙂
