As you will probably know one of our most regular retirement activities is walking the dogs twice a day. Apart from the exercise there are other benefits like the beauty of nature. So, in line with making Friday a pictorial retirement blog rather than a written one, Mrs Summerhouse took these photos on her iPad when we were walking the dogs in our local park (Beckett Park).
We’re very lucky to have access to a number of walks where we can let the pups run free. Particularly when you bear in mind we bought this house many years ago way before we thought of having dogs to walk. This time of year the blue of the bluebells and the fresh green of the newly opened leaves makes walking through the woods a real pleasure.
