So here is the latest in my series of reflections 
on our time as a family, spent living and working in New Zealand. Things were improving by this time but there were still plenty of challenges and frustrations. Self esteem figures quite a bit. As I’ve suggested elsewhere retirement seems like a good time to look back at some of our achievements and see what we learned and what we might do from now on. In these pages about New Zealand we set ourselves plenty of challenges, can we continue to do so in our retirement years? We were quite brave then, can we continue to be so now we are retired?
