I’ll start the new year of 2014 with a rather unusual blog. It describes a night in a hotel with our colleagues. Colleagues, in this case, being other Yorkshire vineyard owners. All but one commercial and, all but one, much bigger than ours. It was an interesting evening. A lot of wine was drunk but very little strategy planned. It meant leaving our dogs behind for the first time and there’s a bit about this before ending on what can only be called a total digression.
