This is chapter 4 and we move deeper and deeper into the world of windbreaks. That’s the ones we should have planted a year before putting in the vines. Instead they’re more than a year behind the vines. Took quite a bit of research to decide what to plant. Quite a bit of reading and on-line study, as well as a visit to a friend who had already erected his version of artificial windbreaks. The whole thing turned out to be a lot more complicated than I had anticipated but then what’s new?
