Retirement offers many opportunities, one being time to take more holidays and, while there, time to produce more art at least in Mrs Summerhouse’s case. Her art work this month has a definite flavour of Ireland being paintings (water colour on canvas) she made during our last two visits to Dunquin in County Kerry. Next stop America.
There were two views of the Blaskett Islands just off the coast (I’ve only chosen one), both from our kitchen window or was it dining room table? The third – below – is a view up the coast also from the house. I hope I have named the island correctly in Gaelic.
