Between now and Christmas we’re going to put out on this retirement blog a new version of an advent calendar. Two images every day. A day late but then we’ve only just had the idea.
Truth be told doing this it slightly gets me off the hook because these doodles were supposed to be published in the form of a book from Amazon, by me. But I got stuck, even though the programme I was using – KDF Cartoon Creator, was supposed to be for children. Obviously not simple enough for me. I did well with the images but ran aground with the cover, the two that now start this series. I gave up in frustration and never got started on the idea again.
So these images – about 40 – have been gathering virtual dust for the last four or five months. Now here they are. A different kind of Christmas advent calendar for a different kind of year.
