Between this cartoon blog and the last one I asked the landlord of the above pub if he would like to put my cartoons on the pub’s Facebook page. On the advice of a friend I sent him a message to this effect. He ignored it. The next time I was in the pub I asked him directly. He said, and I quote, I don’t get it, what’s it about? I tried to explain, just two blokes and the barmaid in a pub putting the world to rights. Nah, he said, don’t get it. I gave up. Sometimes becoming famous, even in your own pub, can be difficult. Maybe in my next lifetime?
