Last weekend in the papers there were several reports of what good had come out of 2020 and its lockdown. Presumably as a salve to this next version. There were several articles about activities people had engaged in because their usual activities were restricted. For example, a person by the name of Tom Vanderbilt told us about what he had done that was different to his usual life engagements. They were joining an on-line singing group, drawing, surfing and making his own wedding ring. Blimey, I thought, that’s quite impressive, no, very impressive.
So in this bonus retirement blog I’m offering up Mrs Summerhouse’s more modest version. Specifically decorating plates. I mentioned it before and said the idea had come courtesy of a friend who had looked at her Advent doodles and thought they would nicely suit plate designs.
So far she’s plated up 12. My intention is to post 4 at a time over the next few weeks. So here are the first four. Like the initial doodles, they’re in black and white.
