This week we did something that I think sensible, retired people do. We found a nice spot in the Derbyshire countryside and walked around and admired it. We had planned to head back to Leeds on Monday (the weather was abysmal on Sunday) but the photo above showed the weather on that morning out of the back bedroom window. We decided we would stay and enjoy the sunshine, like retired people do, so I’m told.
Here’s a second view out the back bedroom window. Followed by two photos of the Cromford canal. One of our favourite Derbyshire walks.
The last two are photos of the flora on another of our doggy walks – along a disused railway line. Not that you would know this from the photo. Mrs Summerhouse getting all arty with a close-up of frosted leaves.
A relaxing and pleasant three days in retirement.
